Export the slides as PDF
In your presentation app, choose its PDF export or download option. Include written context from speaker notes where you can; short bullet points alone may leave out the lecturer’s explanation.

After subscribing, open your Exam Cat study desk and upload the text-based PDF. Build one study kit for the lecture you want to practice.

Take the quiz, then revisit mistakes
Choose Quiz, answer the multiple-choice questions, and read the explanations. Return to the notes for an unfamiliar concept, or use flashcards for another pass.
Better source material makes better practice
A slide that says “Energy: see diagram” gives a text-based tool little to work with. A slide that includes the relationship, units, and a worked example gives it more context. Before uploading, check that the PDF contains the ideas you expect the quiz to cover.
Use the quiz to find what needs another look
Try an answer before checking the explanation. If you miss a calculation, work it out on paper and compare the steps with your lecture. If you miss a definition, explain it in your own words before returning to the question.
Practice questions, not a prediction of your exam
Exam Cat generates questions from the text you provide. It does not know your professor’s exam or guarantee coverage of every assessed topic. Compare your practice with the syllabus, assigned problems, and any official revision guidance.

Can I upload PPTX slides directly?
On the web, export PowerPoint or Google Slides to a text-based PDF first. Direct PPTX upload is not supported.
Does Exam Cat read graphs and diagrams from slides?
The web PDF workflow extracts text. It may miss information contained only in an image, graph, or diagram. Include a written explanation of anything essential.
What kind of quiz does it create?
The study kit contains multiple-choice questions with answer explanations, alongside notes and flashcards. Check the questions against your source material before relying on them.
Can I try something without paying?
The study example here and our manual flashcard maker are free to use without a login. Generating an AI study kit from your own slides requires a web subscription.
