Captions are the source
This workflow reads the transcript; it does not watch the video frames. Information shown only on a whiteboard or animation may be missing. Automatic captions can also mishear technical terms or formulas. Check those details against the original lecture.
What if the transcript cannot be retrieved?
Some videos have no usable captions, and YouTube can temporarily block transcript access. Try another captioned lecture or upload a readable transcript file you already have. Exam Cat should show a source error instead of inventing a summary of a video it cannot read.
