How to make a useful flashcard
Put one question on the front and a short answer on the back. Try a definition, a comparison, or a small worked example. Keep enough context that the question still makes sense when you see it tomorrow. Check each answer against your course material before practicing.
Need cards from an entire lecture?
The free maker above uses answers you write yourself. Exam Cat’s paid web app can generate a connected study kit from a text-based PDF, text files, or a captioned YouTube lecture. You get notes, flashcards, and a multiple-choice quiz to work through the same material in different ways.
